Just a lil note...

Just thought I'd pop in and let my massive audience know what was going on lately. ;) Firstly, I must tell you I have embarked on a new challenge. Playing the cello. It is easier and harder than I thought it was going to be. I can't feel the fingertips on my left hand and I actually have a slightly bruised leg, but it's worth it. I was pathetically sad at first that I had to cut my nails short. All of us girls have these strange little prideful things, (or maybe just me lol) and I'd always felt pretty good about my nice long nails. But for the sake of being able to find notes and bow properly, they are all gone. I did come to terms with it though. I decided it's not unlike having children. We have to sacrifice some of our physical beauty, but its more than worth it, because we create a beauty outside and bigger than ourselves - whether music or children.

In other news, we are going on a cruise in 9 days to the Mexican Riviera and can't wait!

I also will be working on a blog about the footstool that I reupholstered and painted :) Just have one more step to complete and then it will be up for you to see!
